How do I know which haircut to book?
Haircut pricing is based upon services requested and the time allowed for services.
-Clipper, fitted, or pixie haircuts are 30 mins without a shampoo.
-Dry cuts for straight hair are 30mins without a shampoo.
-Haircuts With Shampoos are 45 mins.
-Express Curly cuts (returning guests meeting requirements) are 45mins without a shampoo.
-Curly cuts start at 90 mins.
-Curly cuts with curl education are 120 mins.
Why a Curly Cut?
-Curly cuts are for anyone who desires to wear their hair curly most days. It is perfect for all wavy, curly, coily, or kinky curls alike.

-Curly cuts are done on dry hair to see the curl in its natural state. Dry cuts allow us to see how it lays and how well it plays with its neighboring curl textures.
​
-Curly cuts create nice shapes in the hair, complements facial features, maximizes your curl pattern, amplifies the volume (if desired), creates seamless layers, and blends different curl textures together.

-Even though I highly recommend a curly cut for most curls, it is not an absolute for all. Not every person needs or wants a Curly Cut. I am also capable of cutting your curls with a traditional wet cut. You can do this by selecting one of the non Curly Cut haircut options.
Which Curly Cut option do I book?

New guests desiring a Curly Cut MUST book a Signature Curly Cut. This allows for extra consultation time, shampooing, conditioning, and styling. Please allow 90 minutes of your time for this curl transformation.

Returning Curly Cuts can book a Express Curly Cut. This is ONLY a dry cut to maintain the current shape. No additional shampooing, styling, or education is provided. If it has been more than 16 weeks since your last Curly Cut with me or desire more than 3" off the length, you cannot book a express cut and will need to schedule a Curly Cut. Please allow 45 minutes of your time for this cut.

If you are just starting off your curl journey and are in need of some extra curl care or styling tips, I offer Curl Education without a haircut. At this appointment I will coach you on the how-to's of shampooing, styling, and care of your curls. Please book the Curl Education option. Allow 60 minutes of your time for this one-on-one coaching session.

Are you in need of both a Curly Cut and Curl Education? No problem, I have a booking option for you! Please select a Curly Cut with Education. Allow for 2 hours of your time for this total curl experience.
What Curl Cutting techniques are used?
I have learned multiple curly cutting methods that continue to inspire and elevate my work. I like to say I have many tools on my toolbelt. I choose which technique to used based upon the clients desired look and results, hair texture and styling capacity.

How should my hair be for my appointment?
-If you are coming in for a regular haircut- Do nothing. I will shampoo, condition, cut, and dry your hair for you. Flat ironing or curling the hair with an iron is an additional fee.

-If you are coming in for a signature curly cut- Please arrive for your appointment with your hair down, completely dry, and naturally curly/wavy with no clips, headbands, or ponytails. Minimal styling products are ok. No oils, butters, or heavy creams. If your hair has been straightened or is severely tangled, your appointment will either be rescheduled, or an additional charge will be added for the extra services required.

-If you are coming in for a color or highlight-Please come in with clean hair for best results. No heavy hairsprays , dry shampoos, or products on your hair. Failure to follow these guidelines can change the end result of your color. I highly recommend detoxing or clarifying of the hair 1 week before service day.

What hair coloring service do I book?
-An all over color or root touch ups are perfect for gray coverage. Pricing covers 1/2 inch of growth. Growth over 1/2 inch has additional costs. Please select the "Color" option for booking.
-A Highlight can be a partial foil that includes the top, side and crown of the head. A full foil would include the same areas as a partial foil plus the back of head. When booking this appointment please select one of the two options "Partial Highlight" or "Full Foil".
-A color with a highlights will take care of your meddlesome gray hairs and add dimension to your color. This service can be a full highlight or a partial highlight. Prices will vary depending on if it is a partial or a full head of foils. Multiple colors will also have addition fees. When booking this option please select the "Color with a highlight" option.
-Balayage is a technique of hand painting highlights into the hair that allows for longer times in between color services. These types of highlights are soft, well blended, and known as live-in colors. Balayage can have darker roots, color melts, or an ombre. All of these techniques would be booked under the "Balayage" option.
-Color Correction is the process of correcting or making complete changes to your existing color. Dark to light hair or back to gray hair is a correction. Light to dark hair all over color is not necessarily a correction. Color correction pricing is based off of an hourly wage. Most corrections starts at 3 hours and can take up to 8 hours or more. Please choose the "Color Correction" option for this service. A free 15 min "Consulation" is preferred for all color corrections, however, it is not required.
What hair treatments do you offer?
Detoxing-This treatment will help with the removal of unwanted buildup and minerals on your hair and scalp.

Deep Conditioning- This treatment will moisturize, repair, or restore your stressed hair.
​
Scalp Scrub- This is an aromatherapy treatment that will help stimulate, exfoliate, and refresh the scalp.
​
Hair Facial-This full service scalp and hair treatments includes the Scalp Scrub, the Detoxing and the Deep Conditioning treatments.
​
K18- This mask repairs and restores damaged hair in minutes and adds elasticity back into the hair.
What are payment options?
Payment by Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Cash, Apple pay and
Distinctive Hair Gift Certificates are accepted.
Which color line do you use?
The primary color line I use is All Nutrients. It is a natural color with an avocado base which is both gentle on our skin and hair. Redken Shades EQ is an alternative option I offer. This semi-permanent line seals the cuticle and adds wonderful shine to our end result.
Which product lines do you Carry?
Innersense is a plant based line, clean and organic with no toxins, parabens , silicones, or sulfates.
Jessicurl is a natural curl specific line with no toxins, parabens , silicones, or sulfates. GF*

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, I have a 24 Hour cancellation policy.
Less than 24 hour notice of cancellation and No Show appointments will result in a rescheduling fee of 50% the service(s) booked.
These fees must be paid in full before booking a future appointment.
I reserve the right to refuse appointments for any reason.

Adjustments
I strive to offer my guests the highest level of satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your hair, let me know within 72 hours of your visit and I am happy to correct the issue at no additional charge.
Late Arrivals
Services for clients running late will be adapted to fit the remaining appointment time without adjustment to pricing. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and Cancellation Fees will apply.

Should you make a retail purchase you are unsatisfied with, let’s find something better for you! Exchanges at full credit are accepted as long as you notify me within 7 days of your initial purchase.
